Lensless Photography

In this workshop, participants will learn how to expand their creative skillset with black and white silver gelatin paper. Techniques covered include lumens and their family of variants like the kitchen chemigram. Lumen printing refers to exposures and impressions made without developing photographic paper, creating lovely pastels, earth tones, and sometimes more vibrant creations. “Kitchen” Chemigrams will find participants repurposing household materials, including kitchen waste and materials to make wild and colorful creations allowing photography to crossover into other realms of art such as resist, monoprint, and painting. Participants will leave with at least three final prints of their own photographic creation. [Min. 4, Max. 12]
