Facilities

Here at the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, we are a full community arts center with a ceramics studio, metals studio, photography studio, painted pottery studio and two general arts studios. We also are complete with a sales gallery and two exhibition spaces.

Ceramics Studio

Our ceramics studio includes 13 pottery wheels, a slab roller, tables for handbuilding, and an area for clay storage and drying racks.

Metals Studio

Photography Studio

Our photography studio includes a fully functioning darkroom for traditional photography work as well as six Mac computers for digital photography instruction.

Painted Pottery Studio

The painted pottery studio features handmade pottery pieces created by local artists with everything from bowls and mugs to ornaments, vases, and novelty items. The studio is open to the public during our normal business hours Tues-Fri 10am to 9pm, Sat. 10am to 4pm, and Sun. 1pm to 4pm. No sitting fee – simply pay for the item you paint! No appointment needed (groups larger than four please call ahead).
