Ready. Set. Create! Spring Break Art Camp

April 9-13, 2012

What a wonderful way for your children to spend their week of spring break vacation!  Participants will complete various artistic projects and endeavors including pottery, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and much more!

Mini-Masters’ Camps (Ages 3-6): The young artist mini-masters’ program here at the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge caters to children ages 3 to 6.  This is a drop off camp program.  Camp activities introduce young children to all areas of art including pottery, painting, drawing, and more!  We ask that all children enrolling in the program camps be potty trained.

Emerging Artist Camps (Ages 7 to 11): The kids’ emerging artist program at the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge offers children ages 7 to 11 the opportunity to experience the world of art through fun, interactive programs including activities such as painting, potter’s wheel, printmaking, photography, and much more!

Advanced Art Camps for Youth (Ages 11 & up) :  The Youth Advanced Art Program at the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge is a great opportunity for “tweens” and teenagers to expand their knowledge and expertise in various areas of fine art.  We pride ourselves on high quality, hands-on activities not capable in most schools such as metal design, potter’s wheel techniques, alternative photography, painting with advanced methods and materials, and more!

**Please note: When possible children are separated in classes by age.  Typical breakdowns for spring break art camp are as follows: (3-4), (5-6), (7-11), and (11 & up).  Please be aware that we require a minimum number of children per class.  On days of low enrollment children may be grouped into classes differently, or in the same class, however, will always be separated into groups by age.

Full Day Camp – Full Week: Take both Morning & Afternoon Camps!  Monday – Thursday (9AM-4PM) & Friday (9AM-12noon) *No afternoon camp on Friday. Cost: $175 for emerge members, $215 for non-members

Half-Day Camp – Full Week:

Mornings: Monday – Friday (9AM-12noon)

Single Day Camp Options: We offer all day single day options as well as half day options for one day.  Online registration is not available for single day options.   Please refer to our Spring Break Art Camp Booklet for more info or contact Cathy Brown, Office Manager, at 551-6947 or cathy@pittcountyarts.org.
